Recruiting Process

   

Maair follows an extensive and vigorous recruitment process utilizing world-class best practices at each stage from identifying the requirements to actual placement. We maintain a database of thousands of resumes but our hiring methodology is client specific and very thorough. Our acceptance ratio is less than 1% of all applicants. Clients who require specific skills for analysts must allow 5 - 7 weeks from the time we receive a retainer fee to fill a position (s).

Our approach for client specific hires is as follows

o Research and prepare comprehensive recruitment plan (One week)
o Prepare introduction e-mail and job description that is to be shared with prospective candidates
o Prepare level one and level two interview questionnaire & written tests (if applicable)
o Identify matching and interested candidates (One week)
o Resume sourcing and screening based on education, skill-set and overall experience
  Job boards, referrals, consultants, head-hunting, advertisements, database, etc.
o HR interviews short listed candidates - Level One
  Based on aptitude, communication, personality, relocation, start time, budget, & core skills (written tests where applicable)
o Operations interviews candidates - Level Two
  Detailed drill-down on core skills and assign project where applicable
o Client interview - Level Three (One week)
o Detailed teleconference (with respective client managers)
o Project assignment and review (if applicable)
o Final selection (two or more candidates per position)
o Closing
o Offer letter
o Final negotiations and acceptance
o Candidates notice period to current employer (Two-Four weeks)
o Customer sends respective software licenses and training materials
o Candidate joins company (another set of processes will follow for employee orientation (induction) and training)
   
Total start time: Approx 5-7 weeks for candidate(s) to come on board from the time we receive the retainer.
